The GANS Scholarship Programme is a fully-funded pathway into a certified aviation career, open to UAE Nationals who meet the minimum academic requirements. It covers tuition, a monthly stipend, insurance, and comprehensive on-the-job experience across four specialist tracks.

Aeronautical Information Services Assistant
AISA Job purposeTo ensure the flow of aeronautical data and aeronautical information necessary for Global Air Traffic Management (ATM) System safety, regulatory, economy, and efficiency in an environmentally sustainable manner. The role and importance of aeronautical data and aeronautical information changed significantly with the implementation of Area Navigation (RNAV), Performance-Based Navigation (PBN), Airborne Computer-Based Navigation Systems, Performance-Based Communication (PBC), Performance-Based Surveillance (PBS), Data Link Systems and Satellite Voice Communications (SATVOICE). Corrupt, erroneous, late, or missing aeronautical data and aeronautical information can potentially affect the safety of air navigation.

Open exclusively to citizens of the United Arab Emirates.
18 – 29
Applicants must be within this range at the time of application.
Completed
A completion certificate is required where applicable.

Sat at the GANS Training Centre in Al Ain.

Full scholarship with remuneration
Tuition is covered, and scholars receive a monthly stipend during training.
Training and on-the-job experience
Classroom and simulator work alongside on-the-job experience at the same time.

Mentored progression toward operational roles across the UAE network.
Insurance & accommodation
Insurance card during training, plus subsidised accommodation for scholars based outside Al Ain.
